ヤマップの創業者は春山慶彦（はるやま よしひこ）です。 1980年9月30日生まれで、福岡県春日市出身です。同志社大学法学部を卒業後、アラスカ大学フェアバンクス校の野生動物学部を中退しました。
2013年に登山地図アプリ「YAMAP」をリリースし、現在は株式会社ヤマップの代表取締役CEO
